Where Alva comes from
Alva is an archaic variation of the spanish word for dawn - the threshold between night and day, an inflection point, a new beginning. That idea lives in every piece: a rebirth each time jewelry enters a woman's life, whether bought for herself, gifted, or inherited. Alva begins in the relationship between mother and daughter - a jewelry box on a vanity, a young hand reaching for a ring that's still too big for it. What passes between mother and daughter is the trues version of what Alva wants jewelry to be: a piece worn close to the heart, and shared without having to give it up.
