The Bezel Mixed-Size Diamond Drop Earrings
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
A vertical line of diamonds, changing shape and scale as it moves.
Each earring brings together seven lab-grown diamonds: five round diamonds arranged in graduated sizes between two pear-shaped diamonds, one at either end. The composition creates a continuous line that begins and finishes with the same pointed form, while the round diamonds build the movement between them.
Made in 14k yellow gold, the earrings extend approximately 42.20 mm from top to bottom.
Seven stones. Two shapes. One continuous line.
The Piece
The design is built through progression.
A pear-shaped diamond begins the line. The round diamonds then increase in size toward the center before narrowing again, creating a measured change in scale. Another pear-shaped diamond brings the composition to its conclusion.
The repetition is not uniform. It moves.
Each stone is framed in yellow gold, giving the individual diamonds definition while allowing the seven stones to read as one elongated composition.
At 42.20 mm, the length is intentional. The earrings are designed to move vertically from the ear rather than remain as a compact stud.

The Diamonds
Each earring contains seven lab-grown diamonds, bringing the pair to 14 diamonds and a total diamond weight of 3.02 carats.
The central sequence uses three sizes of round diamonds:
- Four 3.40 mm rounds at approximately 0.16 ct each
- Four 3.80 mm rounds at approximately 0.21 ct each
- Two 4.30 mm rounds at approximately 0.32 ct each
At either end of the composition sits a pear-shaped diamond:
- Two 5.00 × 3.00 mm pears at approximately 0.20 ct each
- Two 5.50 × 3.50 mm pears at approximately 0.25 ct each
The diamonds are selected in E/F color and VS clarity.
The graduated round diamonds create the central rhythm, while the pear-shaped stones give the line its beginning and end.

The Gold
The earrings are made in 14k yellow gold, with an approximate gold weight of 5.90 grams per pair.
The gold frames each diamond individually and connects the sequence into a continuous drop. Its warm surface provides the structure without overwhelming the diamonds.
The construction remains deliberately clean: each stone has its own definition, but none is treated as an isolated focal point.

Why This Piece
The design does not rely on one large stone.
It creates scale through sequence.
The diamonds change size as they move through the earring, reaching their greatest round-diamond proportion toward the center before resolving into pear shapes at the ends.
That progression gives the earrings their rhythm.
The eye follows the line naturally: point, round, larger round, larger still, then back again.
It is a study in repetition without uniformity.
Designed to Be Lived In
The length gives these earrings presence, but the composition keeps them from feeling excessive.
At 42.20 mm, they create movement below the ear while the graduated diamond arrangement keeps the eye moving through the entire design.
They can accompany an evening without being confined to one.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |
