The Aurora Pear Diamond Drop Necklace
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
A continuous line of round diamonds follows the neck, interrupted at the center by a single pear-shaped diamond.
The necklace brings together 74 round lab-grown diamonds and one pear-shaped diamond, creating a contrast between repetition and singularity. The round diamonds form the line; the pear gives it a point of focus.
Made in 14k yellow gold, the necklace is available in 15 inches with a 1-inch extender or 16 inches with a 1-inch extender, allowing it to sit closer to the neck or slightly lower depending on how it is worn.
A continuous line. One point of departure.
The Piece
The design begins with a simple idea: repetition can create presence.
Seventy-four round diamonds follow the curve of the necklace, each held within the gold structure to create an uninterrupted rhythm around the neck. At the center, that rhythm changes. A single pear-shaped diamond descends from the line, introducing a different proportion and direction.
The contrast gives the necklace its character.
Round diamonds create continuity. The pear creates interruption.
Two shapes, two scales, one considered composition.

The Diamonds
The necklace brings together two diamond shapes.
Along the necklace are 74 round lab-grown diamonds, each weighing approximately 0.32 carats and measuring 4.30 mm, for a combined weight of 23.68 carats.
At the center sits a single 3.00 ct pear-shaped lab-grown diamond, measuring approximately 12.15 × 7.95 mm.
All Alva diamonds are selected in E/F color and VS clarity.
Together, the 75 diamonds total 26.68 carats.
The round diamonds establish the rhythm. The pear breaks it.

Why This Piece
The easiest way to make a diamond necklace more noticeable is to add more.
This necklace takes a different route.
The repeated round diamonds establish a continuous line around the neck. Then, at the center, the repetition stops.
One pear-shaped diamond breaks the pattern.
It introduces length where everything around it is round. It introduces movement where the necklace has otherwise been continuous.
The design finds its character in what changes.
Designed to Be Lived In
A diamond necklace does not need to belong to one particular occasion.
The continuous line gives it presence, while the central pear-shaped pendant gives the design its individual character. The two available lengths allow it to sit at different positions on the neck and work with different ways of dressing.
It is substantial enough to be noticed, but considered enough to become part of regular wear.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |
