The Oval Diamond Band Ring

A continuous line of oval diamonds across the finger, each framed in 14k yellow gold.

Thirteen lab-grown diamonds create the rhythm of the ring, their elongated proportions bringing softness to an otherwise precise composition. The stones sit individually within rounded gold settings, allowing each oval to remain distinct while the sequence reads as one continuous band.

With 1.95 carats of diamonds across the ring, it has presence without relying on excess.

Thirteen ovals. One considered line.

The Piece

The design is built through repetition.

Thirteen oval diamonds follow the upper circumference of the ring, each held within its own gold frame. Rather than disappearing into a continuous setting, the stones remain individually defined, creating a measured sequence of diamond and gold around the finger.

The oval shape gives the ring a softer character than a row of rectangular stones, while the closely spaced arrangement keeps the overall silhouette cohesive.

It is substantial enough to wear alone, yet composed enough to sit naturally alongside other rings.

Details

The Diamonds

Thirteen oval lab-grown diamonds form the upper surface of the ring.

Each diamond weighs approximately 0.15 ct and measures 4.20 × 3.00 mm, giving the ring a total diamond weight of 1.95 carats.

The diamonds are selected in E/F color and VS clarity.

The oval shape gives each stone a balanced relationship between length and width, while the repetition of thirteen stones creates continuity across the finger.

The Gold

The ring is made in 14k yellow gold, with an approximate gold weight of 3.10 grams.

The gold frames each diamond individually, creating a defined boundary around the stones while maintaining a continuous visual rhythm across the ring.

The upper portion measures approximately 5.00 mm wide, with a 2.20 mm upper thickness and 1.70 mm lower thickness.

Why This Piece

Repetition can easily become excessive.

Here, it is controlled.

The same oval is repeated thirteen times, with each stone separated by its own gold frame. The result is neither a single-stone ring nor an uninterrupted field of diamonds. It sits somewhere between the two: individual stones forming a single gesture.

The design finds its character in that balance.

Designed to Be Lived In

A diamond band does not need to wait for an occasion.

Wear it alone for a clean, uninterrupted line of diamonds, or alongside other rings as part of a combination that changes with the day.

As with all fine jewelry, remove it before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. Avoid activities where the diamonds or settings may experience significant impact.

What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
