The Large Pear Diamond Stuggie Earrings
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
A pear-shaped diamond held within a sculpted frame of 14k yellow gold.
The form is deliberately soft at the edges and directional at the point, allowing the gold to become part of the silhouette rather than simply a setting around the stone. The diamond sits within a substantial gold frame that gives the earring presence beyond its carat weight.
Available in two scales, the design can be worn with 0.40 carat total diamond weight for a more restrained proportion, or 1.00 carat total when greater presence is wanted. Both retain the same essential form: a pear-shaped lab-grown diamond enclosed by sculpted yellow gold.
A small diamond. A considered frame. Or more of the same, at a different scale.
The Piece
The design begins with the relationship between stone and gold.
Rather than leaving the diamond visually exposed, the gold surrounds it with a sculpted outer form that follows the stone while extending beyond its proportions. The pointed lower edge gives the earring direction, while the rounded upper profile keeps the silhouette composed.
The result is a stud whose character comes from construction as much as from the diamond itself.
Two diamond-weight options allow the same design to exist at two different scales. The 0.40 ct total version keeps the proportion compact and price-conscious. The 1.00 ct total version gives the same silhouette greater diamond presence.
Neither changes the character of the design.

The Diamonds
Each earring carries one pear-shaped lab-grown diamond, selected in E/F color and VS clarity.
The design is available in two diamond-weight options.
The 0.40 ct total version uses one 0.20 ct diamond per earring.
The 1.00 ct total version uses one 0.50 ct diamond per earring, with each diamond measuring approximately 6.70 × 4.50 mm.
The difference is scale, not design. The same pear-shaped silhouette sits within the same sculpted gold language, allowing the wearer to choose between a quieter presence and a more pronounced one.

Why Lab Grown Diamonds
The Gold
The earrings are made in 14k yellow gold.
The 0.40 ct total version has an approximate gold weight of 1.70 grams per pair, while the 1.00 ct total version has an approximate gold weight of 2.30 grams per pair.
The gold forms the defining outer silhouette of the earrings, surrounding the diamond and extending beyond its proportions.
The metal is not merely there to hold the stone.
It is part of what you see.

Dimensions & Fit
The earrings are designed as compact studs with a sculpted, elongated silhouette.
Overall earring height: Approx. 11.6 mm
0.40 ct version: 0.20 ct diamond per earring
1.00 ct version: 0.50 ct diamond per earring, approx. 6.70 × 4.50 mm
Fitting width: Approx. 5.8 mm
Back/fitting dimension: Approx. 3 mm
The smaller diamond option keeps the design more understated, while the 1.00 ct total option gives the same silhouette greater visual presence.
Why This Piece
Carat weight is only one measure of presence.
This design uses the gold itself to establish proportion. The diamond sits inside a sculpted frame, allowing the surrounding metal to define the silhouette and give the piece its character.
The two available versions make that distinction clear.
At 0.40 carats total, the design is compact and restrained.
At 1.00 carat total, the diamond becomes more prominent without changing the underlying form.
The choice is not between two different designs.
It is the same idea, resolved at two scales.
Designed to Be Lived In
A diamond stud does not need to wait for an occasion.
The compact silhouette makes the earrings easy to incorporate into everyday wear, while the sculpted gold frame gives them enough definition to remain visible rather than disappearing against the ear.
Choose the 0.40 ct total version for a quieter expression of the design, or the 1.00 ct total version when greater diamond presence suits the way you wear it.
Both are designed to become part of regular rotation.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |
