The Classic Oval Diamond Eternity Band
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
Twenty-four ovals, set shoulder to shoulder around the entire band. Each stone lies across the ring, turning a simple eternity into a continuous run of soft, oval light.
The Piece
The ovals are held in shared prongs, set with their length across the band so their curved outlines meet edge to edge around the full circle. Because the diamonds circle the whole ring, there is no front and no back — it reads as oval diamond from every angle. Light and fine, it stacks with a plain band or a solitaire, or stands on its own.

Twenty-four oval lab-grown diamonds run the full circumference of the ring, each measuring 3.50 by 2.50 millimetres and weighing 0.10 carat, for 2.40 carats in total. All are selected in E/F color and VS clarity, so the band reads evenly bright the whole way around.

The Gold
The ring is made in 14k gold, with an approximate gold weight of 1.70 grams. Shared prongs sit between the ovals, keeping the gold minimal so the diamonds form an almost unbroken line.

Why This Piece
Round eternity bands are everywhere. An oval eternity is rarer and softer — the elongated stones give the circle a gentler, more fluid line than a row of rounds.
Designed to Be Lived In
Every Alva piece is made by hand in 14k gold and lab-grown diamonds, and made to order after you place it. It is not set aside for occasions — it is measured by the years of wear ahead of it, not the moment it was bought.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |
