The Bezel Pear Diamond Charm
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
A single pear, closed in a smooth bezel and hung from a fine bail. It sits point-down, the way a pear is meant to be worn, and moves with you. (Note: The chain is not included)
The Piece
The pear is set in a full bezel — no prongs, no corners — so it lies flat against the skin and never catches. The bail is kept small and clean. It is a pendant designed to be worn every day and layered with whatever else is already there.

Why This Piece
A prong-set drop is delicate. A bezel-set one is built to be worn and forgotten — showered in, slept in, layered with the rest.
Designed to Be Lived In
Every Alva piece is made by hand in 14k gold and lab-grown diamonds, and made to order after you place it. It is not set aside for occasions — it is measured by the years of wear ahead of it, not the moment it was bought.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |

Cared for simply, a piece settles further into a life, and the mark it takes on becomes part of what it is worth.
