The Pear Diamond Knot Crawler Earrings
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
A gold love-knot at the ear, and a single pear diamond swinging beneath it. The knot is solid and sculptural; the drop is bright and moves with you.
The Piece
Each earring pairs a polished gold knot — worn at the lobe as the stud — with a one-carat pear that hangs just below it. The knot gives the earring weight and presence; the pear gives it light and movement. Together they read as a finished drop rather than a plain stone.

Why This Piece
A pear stud sits still. A pear on a knot drop moves — and the gold knot gives the earring somewhere for the eye to land before it reaches the diamond.
Designed to Be Lived In
Every Alva piece is made by hand in 14k gold and lab-grown diamonds, and made to order after you place it. It is not set aside for occasions — it is measured by the years of wear ahead of it, not the moment it was bought.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |

Cared for simply, a piece settles further into a life, and the mark it takes on becomes part of what it is worth.
