The Radiant-Cut Diamond Signet Ring
Fine Jewelry | Made to order
A radiant-cut diamond set flush in a bezel, on a band that thickens toward the stone. Nothing catches; nothing protrudes. The diamond sits inside the gold rather than above it.
The Piece
The band tapers from a fine base to a broader shoulder, meeting the stone in a full bezel. The radiant cut — cropped corners, brilliant facets — is held on its side, framed cleanly by gold on every edge. It is built low and solid, closer to a signet than a solitaire, and made to be worn without a second thought.

The Diamond
A single radiant-cut lab-grown diamond of 1.00 carat sits bezel-set at the center, measuring 7.27 by 5.02 millimetres, in E/F color and VS clarity. The radiant cut combines the outline of an emerald cut with the fire of a brilliant, and the bezel keeps it protected for daily wear.

Why This Piece
A prong setting shows a stone off. A bezel lets you forget it is there — which, for a ring meant to be worn every day, is the point.
Designed to Be Lived In
Every Alva piece is made by hand in 14k gold and lab-grown diamonds, and made to order after you place it. It is not set aside for occasions — it is measured by the years of wear ahead of it, not the moment it was bought.
Care
What's good is worn, not kept safe. A softened edge or a faint scratch is not damage; it is evidence of a life lived in it.
| Wearing it | Put it on last, after lotion and perfume have dried. Take it off first, before swimming, heavy exercise, or exposure to household chemicals. |
| Cleaning it | Clean with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners on delicate settings and abrasive polishes altogether. |
| Storing it | Store separately so metal does not scratch metal. |
| Professional care | Have the setting checked once a year. White gold may need replating every few years; yellow and rose gold simply deepen in color instead. |

Cared for simply, a piece settles further into a life, and the mark it takes on becomes part of what it is worth.
